Can someone take a close look at this shot and let me know if I'm missing something from this recently purchased 1973 Ford F250 with a 390FE and factory air? I've circled the two points that raised my question. One is the stay bar rear attachment point is not there (and I can't think of why someone would loosen and remove that unless they were removing some piece of equipment. The second item is a grounding point on a wire that is just hanging there. There are bolt holes in the side of the AC (facing the driver's side) that are also empty.
I should mention I've been taking items out of the truck as I clean and refurbish etc. But haven't pulled anything from this space that I remember.
From looking at photos of other 390's, I don't see anything missing, but thought I'd ask. Thanks as always. John
Common to remove the stay bar, maybe replaced exhaust manifold and lost the bolt or stud. The wire looks like your AC compressor power wire, the tab should be under one of the top bracket bolts. The extra bolt holes are just mounting holes for horizontal installations.
