PVC hose connection...

5.4 gas 4x4 200K miles, new everything that could cause engine trouble...haha almost. coils, FI's, filters, plugs, manifold and gaskets, yadda yadda.

My truck was running awful. ON the way to pick up my motorcycle that had totally quit. Not a happy day. It runs like it has a horrible vacuum leak, like the mixture is way off. I did some research and watched some videos...I played with the vacuum lines, etc watched the live data. LTFT was like -30 on both banks, getting two lean codes and O2 freak out codes, etc...

The vacuum hose from the PCV valve on the right side of the engine to the rear of the manifold looked not seated, took it off played with it. Cursed a bit. Pushed it on as hard as I could, the hose looked OK. And now it runs fine. Any chance it was leaking? Or am I just getting luck with the timing of the whole thing. I just wanted to ask if that vacuum hose coming off the back of the manifold was a common thing?

I have battled this truck before and "fix" things, and it is fine for a trip or two, then the whole thing comes crashing down. I have been to hell and back with this truck.
