4x2 to 4x4 Help

I’m thinking about 4x4 swapping my 95 F-150, it has a 4.9 with an E4OD. If I can find an E4OD out of a same year 4x4 F-150 4.9, will it work with my current computer? I’m aware that these transmissions won’t work right with a different year computer but I wasn’t sure if whether it has a transfer case or not is the same deal. If anybody knows please let me know.

Yes it will work with your computer. 4x4 or 4x2 makes no diff WRT the computer controls of the trans.
