Ficm help!

I have a 2004 f350 with the 6 liter and I’m in need of a ficm and was wandering what the best route is to go with it. I’m looking at an alliant reman but there are hardly any reviews on them, any help will due. Thanks

Do you have the old one?

If so, why not send it in for repair?

Yes I do, I’ve heard ficmrepair.com is pretty good but I’m just trying to find out what the best options are

Unless your unit has had a MAJOR electrical problem, then FICMRepair.com or CircuitBoardMedics.com are your best choices IMO. Their web sites explain their services.

IMO you will end up with a more reliable unit than buying a different one from an Internet company.

Call Ed at FICM and he will help you out.

He can ship one out to you, before you send yours in and have it in a few days. Once you send yours in and it is serviceable, he will settle the deposit stuff.

He pulled me out of a jam years ago and I think he is a top notch guy.

OP, what makes you think the old one failed? How did you check the input voltage (13-14 VDC) and the power supply voltage (48.5 VDC)? Just curious.
