Excursion restoration

I have a 2002 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer edition with the V10 engine. It has 250,000 miles but runs. I would like to have it restored to the factory original condition or as close as possible so that I can enjoy it for another 20 years and 250,000 miles. Are there any companies in the US that would do such a restoration?

Thank you,

George

Check with local body shops, a lot of the ones around me do restoration work. Some don't.

As a former body shop owner you can expect quite a hefty price to do this sort of job to a high quality finish. A simple paint job doesn't undo the accumulated time on the other parts of this Excursion such as wiring and other by now difficult to obtain parts such as modules and such. Some will be so long ago obsolete you'll pay through the nose IF they can be found at all.

There's no reason this one shouldn't go at least 300K miles, during the time before it hits that mark you can shop around for another vehicle that would serve your needs and wants for the duration of your time driving.
