Front receiver
My 2015 has a front receiver on it. Was that a factory option? Wondering what the max tongue weight for the front is. Can’t locate anything in the owners manual.

The front receiver was installed by a previous owner as it was not offered as an option from the factory. You might be able to find a sticker or other marking on the receiver indicating the brand and model number to determine the max tongue weight.

they are typically 500lbs tonged and 8000 - 9000 straight line pull,

Looking at Etrailer.com, it appears there are 3 hitches available.
The Drawtite and Curt both have the receiver coming out from under the bumper and have a 500lbs vertical load and 9,000lbs linear load limit.
The EcoHitch comes out of the middle opening (front license plate area) of the bumper and has a 1000lbs vertical load and 10,000lbs linear load limit.
