Folding center console headrest extend?

Folding center console headrest extend?
Dumb question… Does the headrest extend on the folding center console? Seems like it should but I can’t get mine to budge.

i have the folding center console in my truck, not the fixed console. It has a headrest

In my xl 450 the head rest extends. Theres a button there somewhere your missing. I fully removed mine for plowing and salting because the headrest blocked my access to the spreader controls.
Its the same as other headrests.
Get to the bottom of the rods and youll find some sort of button.

There is a button, the headrest just wouldn’t come up. I’ll have to give’er a little more steam tomorrow. I just didn’t want to pull too hard if it didn’t come out. Thanks for the reply!

Lol I had to stick my finger down the shaft hole to find the button to extend/remove mine,
I think what I just said may have multiple applications/implications, lol.
