One PCV valve only, the other side is a vent
So if it is working correctly the PCV valve is sucking hard enough to make a slight vacuum on the other hose.
The test is to pull the vent hose and put a small piece of paper over the hole in the valve cover
It should suck the paper tight to the valve cover
That means there is no excessive blowby and the PCV valve is working and is not plugged up
