Hello guys, I have a 94 f150 5.0 extended cab 2wd. Was thinking about getting a junkyard throttle body that hopefully the screw haven't been messed with because the stop screw on mine has been messed with. Question is, if I pulled one would it match as far as TPS, and stop screw position or setting ? If that is i could find one that hopefully hadn't been messed with. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated
If the unit is working well otherwise, the stop screw can be re-set.
If you want or need a new used unit, the 5.0/5.8 units from 87 to 97 will all interchange. Earlier units will not have "anti sludge" coatings on the interior. Some models may have differences in the fuel vapor ports, which you just plumb to suit.
4.9 units have a smaller bore, and different levers, but could maybe be made to work in a pinch. 7.5 units are not setup to accept the IAC, so I would avoid those.
