So about two weeks ago the wife and I are crusing down the freeway and she points at the A-pillar grab handle on her side and says WTF is that. Theres a drip of water coming from the plastic cover on the upper grab handle bolt. She takes a napkin and dries it, another forms, say about 7 drops and it stops. seems all done. When we get home, I pull the door seal back, kinda pry my way into the header-upper a-pillar area nd look around, no wetness, no water, drain tube intact. dont see anything alarming. Well it got the best of me yesterday, nice day out, pulled the A-pillar trim and had my wife generously spray the whole area with a hose while I sat inside with a flashlight. No leaks, no nothing. Couldnt replicate it. She sprayed the roof, cab lights, windshield and all. So just wondering about it and thinking I'm just gonna leave it alone unless I see it again.
Truck had been outside, did have some ice and remnant snow on the roof, thinking about some odd scenario, but either way, it shouldn't leak. You are probably wondering why i wouldn't take a 3k mile truck back to the dealer, but honestly id rather not have someone tear into it unless I really need to. Not to mention deal with the dealer.
Anyone else have a similar prob?
