As in the beeping when the door is open but no key in the ignition? not sure if it is related, but I just found that the reason my van was beeping with the door open ( key not in the ignition ) was a broken sensor for the key that sits below the ignition switch. little brown crescent looking thing with a metal lead that sits in the area the key cylinder goes in to. In my case it was broken and wouldn't stay in the ignition cylinder so would fall out and short and make the door sound when ever the driver side door was open regardless of the key being in the slot or not. And if you want it to never make a sound I guess you can use some electrical tape on the bare metal on the sensor so it does not ground on anything ( and remove it from the key cylinder so it doesn't jam up the lock with the electrical tape ) this way it will never make the chime sound, and you can easily change it back later if needed. ( edit: forgot about the headlight and seatbelt chimes, I am unsure about the location of the chime it self. just figured to relay the info I had in case it may be helpful)
Here is a video that shows it very well ( about 1:40 secs in to video it clearly shows the part I am talking about.) in my case I just glued it all tougher and glued it to the cylinder where it was supposed to snap in.
I had to spray the door pin, was driving down the road with the chime telling me the door was open, key on, I looked all over for that chime, I wanted to kill it, but messing with the door pin finally got it to go out.
