window tint removal?

anyone have any tips or ideas about how to remove old window tint? the stuff on my truck is old and turning a milky purple.

I usually just do it with a razor blade, spray bottle of water, and plastic razorblades.

Vinegar and acetone

Vinegar and acetone worked wonders for me. Pro tip: wear latex gloves at least to avoid smelling like **** for any particular signficant other or in worst case to avoid getting the big C one day.

If you use heat(window face sun all day) then, start with one edge of tint, and peel slow like banana, then any sticky residue left, try all the other tips, just go slow and you will get a lot of the glue to stay on tint as you peel.

well this isn't any fun. only time i wish i had a regular cab truck. i did the front driver and passenger windows, and the passenger vent window. that's enough for today.
