Black Appearance Package color
silly questions, and I searched, didn't find the answer.
What is the actual color of the Black Appearance Package black pieces?
Is it agate black or something else?

thats weird mine are all agate black, the mirrior caps, the grille etc. the headlight housings are gloss black though.

Mine is whatever the metallic black is called (agate?)
as another poster said the only that that isn’t metallic is the inner headlight housings…….they’re just gloss in the back of the housings.
rhe metallic black looks pretty cool with the metallic rapid red in the sunlight when you’re up close. I’m happy with it.

agate black is the standard black now. i'm not sure it is metallic. i have it and it doesn't look all that metallic to me.
i am specifically wondering about the mirror caps, i know the door handles will be agate on an agate truck

Tail lights are the same as a non BAP, i would expect the BAP to have black headlights and tails like the F150 when the 23 comes out.

Thanks. I'd love to replace my heads with BAP units (and tails if they do them in the future) but only if I can figure out how to do it without spending a fortune.

considering ford cant build trucks with BAP currently and a lot of people want it, id imagine the used units are fetching crazy prices right now.

problem is we need a pickup, not really a super duty but something capable of 6 to 8 k towing
inventory around her is absurd. ordering might be the option, but waiting 3-4 months to get a truck might be palatable
my dealer will do x plan on orders only , which is fantastic

I have a 2019 in the same color and it does have flake in under the right conditions.
