Excursion 04.5 HPOP

So I can’t definitively find this answer and searching for parts is even more confusing. I have a 2005 MY Excursion with a late ‘04 6.0, ICP on the passenger valve cover, red 2004 MY emissions sticker. From what I can find, this ******* engine has an “in-between” upgraded HPOP. It’s not the newer style 05-07 but it is a 4v version of the older 03-04.4 HPOP.
I am not certain yet but I’m thinking the HPOP is getting weak at 225k and might be time for some other freshening up as well. I really like the idea of Dieselsite slightly higher than stock volume pump but am not sure if it is going to work. Does anyone have an answer for this? The 04.5 pump from Ford carries this part number 4C3Z-9A543-AARM and appears to be the same style as the earlier pump externally...

The DieselSite pump will work.

All 04.5 HPOPs will fit in the 03 (and early 04) engines.

It is unfortunate that many of the 05 Excursions received the 04 engines.
