Install tailgate Camera on XL with Syn3
I have a 2022 XL 6.7 CC 4x4 on order and can't help but start ordering parts and new items for it. I was hoping someone could shed light on if it is possible to install the OEM camera and hook up to syn3. From what I have read it appears to be possible, but some discrepancy on how to.
The plan was to order the OEM parts and hookup to the pre-wired connections in tailgate and drill a hole for the camera to sit in. Then use Forscan to activate it for lack of better terms.
I seem to be hearing that the tailgate isn't prewired to connect to and some posts say it is.
Other people saying it is possible, but I have to have Sync4.
Any insight or first hand experience would be great.
