Yeah, I'm going to try the one from XDP. Even though it is prolly a piece of brittle junk. Lets see how long it lasts versus the Dorman. The generic metal tanks are all Chinesium junk. And while the metal Mishimoto does have a pipe thread port on the side for a pressure sensor, it has that junky plastic tube push in fluid level that others have reported leak issues with. Sad sad world. B.
I used the Dorman tank, got caught on the road with no choice, it lasted 9 months. I then went to the XDP tank and it worked for 3 years before the bottom hose fitting started to collapse, even with the metal insert in it, leak started out small and a quarter turn on the clamp would stop it until it wouldn't. Finally I am back to an OEM from AutoNation in White Bear Lake, MN.
My temps are steady between 192 and 194. I guess I got a good thermostat last year (LOL). I have way too much money tied up on a kitchen remodel contract and other home improvements right now. So, if the XDP unit only last's 9 months, I will be in a better situation then to buy an OEM unit. B.

jet jockey was saying the Dorman lasted only 9 months and the XDP lasted him 3 years.
I agree that an OEM degas tank is the way to go but if on a tight budget the XDP is not a bad alternative.
It "looks" well made but I only have 500 miles on mine.
Only issue I could say is it doesn't have high/low marks stamped on it but I'm pretty sure "we" know all know to run coolant level low in the tank.
Would it be a benefit to swap to the older 7.3L style of degas tank? The one that mounts up by the fan shroud? I haven't heard of any issues with those cracking and it "should" be a bolt in I would think.

I’m running a Sinister Diesel degas bottle. I haven’t had any issues with it. And can see the coolant very well through the site glass. And it’s AMERICAN MADE!

Bismic, I checked out the link you posted and I'm concerned that this is for the correct part because in their listings for vehicles that it fits, it shows it fitting a 6.8 and 5.4 which are gas engines. Also, the picture shows it as the resevoir tank for those gas engines as well. I have a 6.8 with the same tank so I know the pictures is the same.
Am I missing something here or did you accidentally post the wrong link? I know it says for the 6.0 as well but it obviously can't be for that as well since they use different tanks/bottles. Just checking.
The part number in the link (6C3Z-8A080-B) is correct. The picture certainly isn't correct, but that is not uncommon in the Ford Parts system. Other than that, I don't know what might be wrong with ANWBL's web site (as you stated above - in the web site description, it does list the 6.0L V8 Diesel for fitment).
Check out these other suppliers - they all prove it out to be the correct part.

Always remember that it is wise to provide your VIN at checkout. That should prevent any mix-ups.
Pic below shows the fitment verbiage on the ANWBL site.
Yeah, I don't know what is going on with the site. I know that "sometimes" sites such as Ebay will have sellers that sell multiple parts and you have to put in the exact model to get the correct part and they just use some generic pictures. And of course, if they are overseas sellers that claim to be in the USA (which happens unfortunately way more frequently than it should) but don't really know what they are selling, they will just use whatever picture they need to so they can get their listing online.
I'm not saying that's the case here because I'm assuming this company / business is local since you folks recommend them. But it's just weird that in the description they list the 5.4, THEN the 6.0 and then the 6.8 again. So, gas, diesel, gas.
