Wiring Help

I've got a 93 F350 CCLB 460/ E40D 4X4. Currently I'm getting a high voltage reading on the dash. I've checked the alternator and batter; it's charging at 14v. My coolant temp sensor also reads at thr line at cold but doesn't get higher than that, the oil temp sensor reads low or right in the middle. Ive checked my grounds and theyvare all tight and seem to be in facotry locstions. If anyone has a good engine bay diagram or knows what it can be I'd appreciate it.

If you've checked the alt output outside of the instrument cluster and see it's normal, another possible issue is in the cluster itself. What concerns are you facing at the moment? Trouble with starting, running, gauges not reading as you're accustomed to ??

It just isn't ready correctly like I'm accustom to. It is running a little rich, and I have a bad vibration from 35+ jacked it up today ran it and the drive shaft is level but the center support (carrier) bearing has play which is my origional guess. The pass rear tire is balanced the driver rear is slightly out of balance but it shouldn't affect the vibration. I get it when it's under a load.. I jacked the pass front side and get a grinding sound when I turn the wheel by hand. I'm thinking either axle u joint or wheel bearing. Driver side is quiet.

None of that has anything to do with the electrical system on your truck.

Please re-construct your questions accordingly if you expect any semblance of an accurate direction to follow for repair of your concern.

State your concern implicitly.

welcome to FTE.
Sounds as if you've got a couple of different issues.
1. electrical -- could be in the instrument panel itself or the wiring to it. Also might have something to do with the voltage to the sensors--- I'm pretty sure that the computer has a regulated voltage output to the sensors.
2. Mechanical vibrations -- not a clue.
In any event, you might try your questions in one of the sections under classic trucks-- there should be a sub heading that's at least close to your vehicle. Guys up there will have more details.
As to your questions being clear -- they aren't especially easy to follow, but I gather that you have a couple of things bothering you. Might want to make 2 different posts. Sometimes hard to do when you just want your truck fixed

Good Luck,

hj
