the amendment was nothing important, just dealt with administration and funding. The bad news is we still don't have enough votes to override a veto. We need two more votes.

I would rather be in jail than have something happen that could have been prevented..... Try to change the law but carry it anyway........................

I just love the idiots who want to make guns illegal, it doesn't matter, assault and murder are already against the law, the people who will commit murder don't care if the gun is legal or not. And a lack of firearms doesn't prevent crimes of passion. people in countries with stricter laws than ours still get murdered,
Making laws will not stop some people some examples are illegal drugs, illegal but they are still there, drunk driving, theft, speeding, hunting without a licence the list goes on and on. If its already illegal to commit murder, does anyone really think that someone who commits murder is really concerned about the legality of the weapon used. Automatic weapons are illegal also but if I wanted one I could get one, a nice one too.
