LMC has 82-86. Not bad if you pu thte oval in it. But you have FoRD on the front twice. I thought that I have seen them somewhere but can't remember right now.
LOL. I always thought vanity plates with name of car were stupid. I thought about that grille for my 81, but then decided that since 81 was the last year for hood letters at Ford, that I wanted it to be like Ford left it. And hood ornaments are just awesome.
New 81-84 chrome grills are $84 plus tax on Ebay. Simply type in Ebay item number 293373425797 in a search. You’re not going to find a better deal than that. I wouldn’t hesitate on that price. With everything about to happen soon, price wise. Might be $150 next week. You might have to decide between that or a tank of gas, lol !

Is that with the badge in the center making it 82 - 86 grille as 80 & 81 did not have the ford badge, letters across the hood, and that was the point in not going with the ones you can find at LMC and maybe DC.
My 81 I took the best grille of the 2 painted ones I had, fixed it and repainted it and the head light doors to match and used them on my driver.

Yes it has the oval emblem in the middle. I understand wanting the original no emblem on the 80-81. But, sometimes you have to way the pros and cons of obtaining a nice new part, one that is chromed and the price. Most onlookers don’t know the differences from one model to the next. If I had an 80- 81 and was looking for a new grill. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the one I posted. Especially, under the circumstances that we might be looking at in the near future. I wouldn’t wait around. All things to consider. Hell, buy the one I posted. Have it until perhaps a very nice 80-81 grill comes along one day. Sell the other. Chances of finding a mint condition 80-81 grill that is chromed, may never happen.
