Dirty cover

The plastic cover over my cluster is so dusty inside you can't read the numbers on the odometer. Would like to clean it. Been looking at Utube videos, but they go so fast over the part I need, not very helpful. Anyone help?

Are you asking how to take it out, or just what to clean it with?

I'm not sure how to take it out, but I generally just use Windex and a paper towel on the outside. Never had one get dirty enough on the inside to need to take it apart, but I suppose if you live in dusty/dirty conditions it's possible.

My truck came from the dusty area of NE Colorado. Extremely dirty inside the cover on the cluster. But no rust on the truck.

Not sure about the inside. I had my dash out of my truck last year to change all the bulbs. If I remember correctly the front cover is plastic welded to the main part of the cluster on my truck. Yours may be the same.

I had three bad bulbs in my cluster so they all got changed out. Should be good for another 20 years.

I have an 06, it was a farm truck. Inside the cluster was dusty as hell. I can't remember how I disassembled the cluster to clean it but I do remember once I got the cluster out of the dash it came apart easy & I was able to clean the inside no problem.
