Over the last year I have had this odd starting issue with my 2005 Navigator. It's all original with only 40,000 original miles.
What has been happening about twice a week is when I go to start it, it will turn over, but won't fire up. Then on the second attempt it will always start...always!
I brought it down to my mechanic to check it out. No codes popped up. So we decided to replace the fuel pump. That didn't help. Did the same thing and still always started right up on the second attempt. It runs fantastic when started.
Not too sure what's the logical next step. I don't mind replacing parts, but would like to solve the problem. What you all think? Thanks!!
