Ok so I just did cam Phasers on a 2008 5.4. Truck runs great, no issues that I can tell, but is throwing a p0340. Any ideas? I DID accidentally put the phaser marked "L" on the Passenger side and the phaser marked "R" on the drivers side, but i heard they are universal and the L and R marks are in identical spots so it doesn't matter, correct>?
This is a screenshot from the product page and it pretty clearly says they fit either side. And I've seen that with multiple different ones of these, so if that's actually not true, I need to know.
Phasors are dual marked there is no difference. A long time ago that was not true. If you look at them now each will have both markings .They are 180 degrees from each other .

awesome thanks. Any idea why I'm throwing a code ? I'm 100% sure the phasers are in correctly (triple checked my marks ). Seems unlikely that the sensor just died on me?
