Seat swap?

Seat swap?
I have a 2000 ex cab with 60/40 seats and have the chance to get a set of regular buckets & console from an 04 ex cab fx4. I'm guessing they would bolt right in, wasn't sure about the console. Anyone know for sure?

they should. I dont know about how the console mounts in the 04 but when I was doing this with explorer stuff the most important part was the floor bracket that was about 2/3 of the way to the back. Most of the time it seemed that people pulled the console without pulling the bracket which made it impossible to install properly. When you are pulling the ranger console you might take note of how its mounted to the floor and make sure you get all the parts needed!

I picked them up yesterday for a $100. The console came with a metal bracket that supposedly connects the console to the floor. Now I just need some time to go try the installation

I got an amazing deal on a set of high end explorer seats out of a 99 for $50 at a junkyard. Perfect condition. Ive now had them in 2 different rangers and put at least 12 years of use on them. Most comfortable seats ive ever had in anything. They are finally starting to fail. Very sad about it.
