Reread. So okay sounds like filters were reversed?
Maybe damaged pump. Sure it is a real Bosch? Is that selector still bypassed?
Yeah I guess reversed, i had the water separator pre pump and it seemed to cause cavitation in the pump…
And the pump looks like a Bosch to me but I suppose I don’t know for sure. Came with the warranty fill out page
Yeah I have the selector bypassed currently, there’s a guy north of San Antonio that puts together bronco tank kits that I want to pickup and get rid of the selector for good
No I didn’t watch it, it felt like it but other times after running it for a short bit I opened the hood and watched the gauge drop in pressure down to 20 usually it would stay at 20 other times it would completely die
Been kinda getting to that point, I don’t currently have a way to read anything but I know I need to have a something so maybe this is the time!
what do/would you use?
Yep that’s the kit, I moved the water separator to the post pump position and the other one to the pre pump position and it then ran excellently
Thats odd. The micron filtration level of thr filters can cause issues if you have too restricted of a pre pump filter on there. I would think the water seperstor wouldn't be a very low micron, usually like 100.
If it runs now then thats what matters. Just keep an eye on you separator for the first few weeks.
