1/2" or 1" coil spacer lift - anything else needed?

I'd like to lift the front of my truck up just a touch, especially with the weight of the OEM winch up front now and the lack of uptravel from the factory. I found these guys that make 1/2" and 1" coil spacers. My question is if anybody has installed these and found any alignment problems that require an adjustable track bar. Or are any other parts like longer shocks, extended brake lines, or anything else required? I'm pretty competent mechanically, but don't know what the limitations of lifting the front of these trucks without problems are.

Wondering this myself, I have 1" on my shelf that I bought 2 years ago. Still unsure if I want to level it. Don't want the rear to squat lower if towing.

If you have heavy service springs or snowplow springs maybe limit it to .5 inch. If not 1 inch is fine as they have that much variance stock depending on spring options.

Bump steer may require a better steering stabilizer and/or 1 degree caster shims.

Agreed. I haven't towed with the new truck yet, but my 2015 F350 sat level with an empty trailer and slightly lower in the rear with my loaded trailer. I don't want to be saggy butt and headlights blinding everybody. But I know the weight of the winch brought the front end down, so I really just want to get back to level. I need to hook up and do some measuring.

Good info. Thank you. It seems like steering stabilizer upgrades are common on these trucks. That might be something I do regardless if I lift the front or not.

the bolts at the link have no locktite...the oem ones your going to pull out do.

so pick your poison , blue, orange or red. orange and blue dont require heat to remove.

if you dont use locktite, you may hear creeking on excel in a few hundred miles.

Thanks for the heads up. I have blue and red in my garage. Red isn't as permanent as some people think. I've never had to heat something up to get loose yet.

I installed the Ready-lift 1" on my 2019 and had no issues (alignment, bump steer, lines, etc).

I have a 1.5” PMF spacer on my truck with nothing else. My front axle is ever so slightly offset to the driver side but so little that I think a track bar relocation bracket would over correct it. I elected to do the SPC caster shims at the same time and have no drivability issues. I also elected to go with Bilstein 5100 shocks but the stock shocks would have worked fine with no extension brackets. I say go for it.

Being that this lift is in response to rhe additional weight, why not go up in spring rate. The OEM coils aren't too pricey.

I purposely ordered a truck with the lightest springs available on a F350. I'd prefer not to make the ride an more harsh than it already is. As long as it can handle my trailer fine, then there's no need for a higher spring rate. I'll know that for sure this spring, but I can't imagine there will be any problem. My 2015 F350 also had the lightest springs available on it.

I wish Carli made their coils in less than a 2.5" lift. I've ridden in a truck with these and some properly valved shocks and the improvement in ride over OEM is significant. I don't know what the rate is on the Carli coils versus OEM, but they sure felt a lot softer, yet still able to handle the trailer just fine.

I agree, seems like every decent progressive rate spring is designed for a 2.5" system. I even contacted thuren to see if they had anything that would work for a super duty because they make something like 1, 1.5, 2 and 2.5" high quality level systems but, as expected, they have nothing for Super dutys.
