adding coil spacers to existing 4" lift

i just acquired a 4" skyjacker lift off craigslist for $200. has the 4" coils the extended radius arms drop pitman arm new leafs in the back and all shocks steering stabilizer and stainless steel extended brake lines. The only problem is i want to get 6" i knew this was too good of a deal to pass up. i have currently on the truck the 2" coil spacer in the front. would it be kosher to add this to the skyjacker 4" lift to achieve 6" in the front? anybody ever done this? the truck goes off road occasionally but nothing extreme. I was going to just add 2" blocks to the rear or a 2" add a leaf. any advice or input would be appreciated.

ok. thought i would add something to this. i did some more research and found that the skyjaker lift i have does have the alternate holes/lower holes for making it a 6" lift by adding longer coil springs so i guess i could achieve the same by using my spacers? thanks again

Are you dead set on 35' tires or something? I mean, 4" will clear 33's easily maybe more on an 85. I personally ended up using 2" coil spacers on the front of my 92 with a standard 4" suspension lift because it wasn't level when I finished the lift. (Rear was 3/4" taller than 4" and the front once it settled was 3/4" shorter than 4"). So 1.5" coil spacers actually leveled it perfectly. I only ran 33's but could have cleared 35's.

To each his own but unless you need to level it, 4" will give you plenty of room. Personal opinion there, take it for what its worth.
