2017 Expedition EL Limited front windshield wipers quit on full wipe. Checked the fuse and even tried switching it with a different one. Anyone have any advice? I appreciate it

 

It sounds like it's in the motor or wiring harness. Can you test to see if there's power to the motor?

So, how did you diagnose it to the wiper motor?

 

I took the wipers off, the plastics off(which are next to impossible to break here in Michigan) and exposed the motor and regulator. I turned the key on, put the wipers on constant slow and tapped on the motor with a small hammer and it moved again but is extremely noisy. $150 from Ford, so I’m shopping right now.

 

Glad you found it. It's usually a good thing that it's the item on the end of the wire than the wiring harness. Tracing through a wiring harness can be a pain...
