Crossover I exhaust

My 68 390 runs real good since build. Loads of response and torque. I got a crossover X Pipe given to me. Any significant advantage?

Not significant for an FE truck application IMO. Will change the sound a bit and theoretically should provide some gains. If you like to fab exhaust and take to next level go for it.

My 70 f250 has the H crossover, but it was that way when I got it. I have seen before that H was better in the trucks and X was more for cars. I dont remember the reasoning behind it but that was how I remember reading it. Not that that means sheet. Im sure it would be easily found.
I just watched the video on this summit page that explains exhaust crossovers in less than 5 minutes.
https://m.roadkillcustoms.com/exhaus...es-vs-x-pipes/.
X is more for horse power and H more for low end torque, and why.
