Leaking transfer case

Leaking transfer case
Stopped last night and parked my truck in my normal spot and low and behold my surprise when I went out this morning and found transfer case fluid all over the ground, I was wondering what I could be leaking from being the fact that it is covered all over in fluid so I'm assuming its from the top, what could have been leaking cause I checked my input and output and they weren't leaking.

Check the fluid level just in case. Could be leaking from the transmission or a cooler line.
Knowing if the fluid level is good should narrow it down. Tcase is pretty much sealed except for a few spots.
Another option is to clean it all off and try to keep an eye on it to see where the leak comes from.

Best to not drive that thing until sorted. Its capacity is quite low.
Maybe shift it into neuttal after cleaning truck. Chock wheels and put trans into gear. Best to have a pal with foot on brakes and hold at steady RPM to perhaps pinpoint its leak.
