My 2015 powerstroke has a hard jerk while in fourth gear. 50,000 miles bought it new. Anyone experienced this or have any comments?
thank you
I cannot comment on that directly but if you haven't dropped the 8 quarts of Mercon LV, do so. You might as well drop the pan, clean it off, clean all the break in material of the donut magnet in the pan and replace the filter. The filter replacement is my opinion.
When I reached 30k miles on my truck, I dropped the fluid and the pan. Cleaned off the pan, the factory magnetic donut and added four small high temp rare earth magnets to my pan. I replaced the filter as well. At 60k, I dropped the 8 quarts but did not drop the pan. At the upcoming 90k miles (I'm at 85.5k miles), I will drop the pan and replace the filer again. I can also see what those added magnets have collected. I will post to my truck thread when this happens.
