Cardone thoughts
Pulled my fomoco power steering gear box and what a mess. So many DEEP linear scores inside that Teflon ring would never hold pressure. So given its non rebuildability I bought a Cardone.. is this an oops

Experience appreciated

We only sell Cardone gear boxes at work. Seem to be good boxes. Although mine is R & R only so I will be sending it to them soon.

good news
Thank you. I was concerned 160 CAD vs 600CAD for fomoco. Up here the complete Cardone is 40 more than the kit which as I said wouldn't have saved me anyhoo

I sent my calipers (71' F250) in for rebuild from Cardone. Will mount this weekend and find out too myself....

I also bought some Cardone calipers that I have yet to put on. I did paint them black.

Anyone find a good guide or detailed video to a DIY rebuild? The kit is dirt cheap compared to the R&R.
