Master cylinder float stuck

Master cylinder float stuck
Hi all,
Yesterday I had a front caliper start leaking which made the level drop enough to turn on the dash warning light, as it should.
I replaced the caliper and pads today, refilled the master, bled the system. brakes are working fine.
Now the dash light won’t turn off. I see the yellow float in the center of the master is stuck in the down position.
Has anyone been able to free a stuck float? I hate to change a master cylinder because of that.
