Hydro boost

Hey Fellas done some research and come up with these parts, im also buying new power steering lines and larger master cylinder and brake lines etc.
Booster: 52-7079
Power steering pump :EDELMANN 6014R
this Brake booster is $350 and iv seen that the newer model f350 boosters are much cheaper $150ish, is there another option I dont know of? or should i just stick with this part?

thanks

The newer SD boosters will fit but they require some mods.

I am wanting to do this myself soon. Probably using those same parts mostly.

Also, that booster can be had cheaper. Here it is for 270

I’ve done this swap several times hardest part is pulling pedal box and modifying it. and in my experience the rod in the hydrobooster that sometimes doesn’t come with it and sometimes does I wouldn’t use. Makes pedal way to low i usually rob one out of a sd hydrobooster and best bet is to get the correct booster as far as brake lines go they will hook right up to the factory lines.

What are you modifying on the pedal box?

The pin that the hydrobooster rod connects to has to be raised up higher on the brake pedal lever.

I knew about the pin being a bit higher. I thought I read you could use the brake pedal without modification, it's just be a firmer pedal. Is that not the case?

It puts the rod at a very harsh angle and doesn’t hardly wanna align up in my experience anyway.
