Good News possibly for all of us who have been waiting 4-5 months for a schedule date............. Finally, I received notification this morning.
2022 F-350 Platinum. The only option that I deleted was the adaptive steering. Hopefully this is good new for a few of you out there that are patiently waiting.
Same here. I ordered mine on 9/11 and have all the items that were delaying production. Adaptive Steering, Black Package, 5th wheel prep etc. Got scheduled for March 21st.
I place my order on September 3, 2021. It was originally a priority 19 and moved to a priority 2 in November.
Same thing. Ordered 9/3, priority 2 in November. Scheduled 3/7, then 3/14 and now 3/21. F350 DRW, Star White, nearly all options except LEDs and AS. As much as I would like it right now the delays may keep me from making the trip home in the cold and snow, especially since we will be spending a few days in the Rockies doing a mini vacation.
My understanding from Ford was that once you recieved a "Build" date and VIN that all of the trucks components/parts and pieces were in and reserved for that build? I have my finger crossed that it will be built next month? I live out west so it will be an a rail car for a couple of weeks once it does ship.
I’m anticipating the same push(es) to my build date as it gets closer, but as it stands today: ordered 2/1/22 (second order with competent dealership); scheduled for production on 2/10; build date of 3/28.
I too got excited when receiving my “scheduled for production” notice. It took 4 months after ordering. Now, it’s been over a month and I have received a total of 4 production changes. I’m actually back where I started because 2 production changes moved me up and 2 moved me back. At one point, I even had an actual build day that my dealer was able to provide. The build day was 10 days away and I was getting stoked, but then came the next dreaded production change email. While it is forward progress, it’s just a new level of frustration and waiting.
I ordered my F350 Platinum on Sept 3rd 2021. I was scheduled on Feb 1st with a build date week of March 14th. I was rescheduled for the week of March 21st. And then rescheduled for week of April 4th. Now another change to a build week of April 18th. Has anyone else had this going on?
A little frustrating?
Ordered my Limited on 10/25, scheduled and pushed three times now....I am hearing the week of 14 March now. This process sucks.
Yes, Ford's process is horrible, at best.
Placed my order on 12/7, received confirmation same day. Since then, nothing. Apparently the only delay item I have is 5th wheel prep. Sadly, I've seen people on this forum reporting they placed their orders after me, with 5th wheel prep and have already received 'Scheduled for production" emails.

Nope. Just look at all the folks getting rescheduled. The parts may be “reserved” when you get a VIN, but they may not be there waiting to be built. My own truck got pushed back, thankfully by only a week. The original build to day was 9/7, then it got pushed back to 9/9. The truck didn’t get built til 9/14. Once I got the truck I noticed the stickers on my axle (Dana M275) was 9/12, so 2 days before my truck was actually built, but 6 days after the initially assigned build day. I suspect the order for the axles is what pushed my build back. I’m sure Ford likely had one of the axles on order assigned to my truck, but it looks like the axles got pushed back, which pushed Ford back. I figure once your assigned a VIN, you’re parts are just in a queue and once they arrive, then it gets built.
