Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. I recently purchased in 1984 Bronco 4 by 4 about 8 months ago. I think I'm going to go restomod with it. I think I'm going to put a 3rd Gen. Coyote engine and tranny in it. I'm still trying to build a plan for it and would love some advice or tips or ideas. I'm going to try to do most of the work myself to save money. I also want to change the suspension. probably the front and rear ends. It currently houses A351 Windsor with a 4 speed transmission. 3.50 gears in the front end. Not sure about the rear. Thank you and I look forward to talking with you.
The 5.0 is a GREAT engine, but I think I would go with a 7.3 Godzilla just for the cubes. It might be fun to do a resto-mod "Little Mule" build.... yes, I just watched ROMANCING THE STONE again! LOL! I honestly don't know too much about the 3+ generation Broncos, but you may want to upgrade the TTB with a beefier version (F250?) if a serious HP increase is in the works. Some desert racers have developed that TTB front end for INCREDIBLE performance.

Thanks man. I appreciate the advice and ideas. I'll keep it in mind. I think I might get rid of the ttb. My steering is so squirly!
