Dropped the truck (2019 6.7, about 29k) off this morning at the local dealership. Last week when I was under it doing the fuel filters I noticed that the oil pan is covered in oil. It never leaves any spots that I've noticed, and from what I can see think it is just a very mild leak probably from the pan gasket. Anyone had any issues with theirs leaking? Also having them look at the drivers side battery again as its corroding the terminal, and has the hold down now corroding pretty good. I know the battery saga, but hoping I can maybe get them to change the hold down out since its pretty jacked up now.
My pan leaks. 2019 with 48000. Not sure what I am going to do about it. I sure don't want it going to the dealer and having an inexperienced tech taking my cab off and attempting to re seal the oil pan.

I can understand that. I just dont want anything or any reason if I do have a warranty issue for them to claim negligence on my part. Irritating thing to me is it was at the dealer less than a month ago for an oil change, nothing was said. I know when I worked at a shop you always made sure to point things out to the customer like that. Whether they wanted to fix it or not was up to them.
Unfortunately the upper oil pan leak seems to be so common that it's not if but when it will happen. It doesn't require the cab to come off, although I'm sure some techs do. The transmission does get pulled, and if the reseal on the oil pan isn't done right, well, it leaks again.
Mines the lower. Picked up the truck, was told it’s not leaking, but seeping, so I need to monitor it. I climbed under the truck, they didn’t even bother to clean the pan. So I asked how I was supposed to monitor it while it’s still oily. “If it starts leaking bring it back.” They said “for a leak they’ll put a dye in it.” So I said oh, “okay so you put dye in it and we’ll look at in a few days?” The response, “no, we’d do that for a leak, yours is just seeping.” Brought it home, cleaned it all up myself, and looks to me like it may be coming from where the filter housing is attached.
Mine was just in for this. 60k kms - they swapped the gasket and I had them put in a new filter while they had it open. My truck is deleted with a few other basic mods. Ford covered it no problem.
EDIT: I’m drunk and miss read. Mine was transmission pan leak.
Just had pan gasket replaced in my 2017 right before I traded it in. It was under warranty and I had Ford do it and had zero issues. Replaced at 70,000 miles
