Paid $1,700 for it, with a plethora of issues; however it ran and was overall pretty clean.

5 Speed Clark Transmission
2 Speed Rear Axle
Dump Bed
24,000lb GVR


Since buying it I have did the following:

• (6) New Power King 9.00-R20 Tires
• Battery & Battery Cable replaced
• Coolant changed
• Oil Change
• (8) Spark Plugs changed
• Points/Condenser changed
• Mechanical Fuel Pump changed
• Air Filter change
• Transmission Fluid change
• Rear Differential Fluid change
• Hydraulic Fluid topped off
• Changed Bench Seat for a 1987-1996 OBS Bench Seat
• Added a Fire Extinguisher

In the near future, my plans are:

• Replace the missing Heater Controls/Ducting, etc
• Replace the headlights with LED units
• Re-Wire the entire truck as the wiring is a rats nest.
• Replace the cracked Windshield
• Repair the half working Wipers
• Fit a Tool Box to the passenger side frame rail behind the cab

 

I have to say that’s a really cool rig you got there. I recently bought a 70 F100 to utilize as a truck. Driving it as much as possible to get the juices flowin. It’s really nice to see folks buying these things and driving them hard like they were designed for. Looking forward to updates!
