Window Seals

I need to replace all the side window seals on my '77 and add the 2nd door seal. Who makes the best fitting/quality seals? It looks like there are USA and China versions available. I would like to make sure I get all USA made parts if possible.

Thanks,
Tobin

I like and used these from JBG. https://shop.broncograveyard.com/Wea.../products/539/

Steelrubber products are $ but a viable option. https://www.steelerubber.com/search?...ab-and-chassis

U tube has some great advice.

I've used Steele products in the past on other vehicles, mostly GM stuff. It's been probably 10 years since i last bought some, but it was always a high quality, OEM like, product that fit perfectly every time. It's what I'll be looking for 1st whenever i get around to doing my weatherstripping.

I was not happy with precision. Dennis carpenter seems to have the best reputation, no experience they were out of stock for months when I was ready.

fairchild weatherstripping. I used it on my 86 and well it was better than what was on there. No real complaints about it, seems the door weatherstrip was longer than needed.
I don't know maybe I messed up, I guess I'll find out come summer if I did.

I used Fairchild on my '77. The seals were fine, but the wipers/rattle strips both didn't match the contour of the door and the metal clips didn't lock into the holes properly. I'd try another brand before using these again.

I didn't notice that with my set. At least with the clips, they seemed ok.
The contour seemed ok, nothing really stood out at me but it was first time doing this. I chose them because of good things said about them and the warranty not that a warranty really means much.

Thanks, I ordered the Steele ones. They seem like top notch quality. We will see.

The following kit seems reasonable enough:
Ford Bronco & F-Series Truck Window Weatherstrip Kit-Broncograveyard.com

A 'user' note:
I don't know who made mine which I installed in my '77 CrewCab pickup in 1997, but they have been woderful.
I ordered them from JCWhitney (carparts.com) way back before I had internet, and parts catalogue only.

Today, I don't even know if carparts.com even sells window channels and felts.
Now, today, 24-years later my door weatherseals are cracking on the inside radiuses where stretched and glued in place.

This is typical. It is really quite difficult to know the actual source of what one is buying these days. I have bought things from Dennis Carpenter that arrived in boxes labeled LMC Truck. At least we are dealing in a rather narrow niche market.
[rant] The world at large has to deal with the fact that they may be completely out of touch with the actual producer or even someone who knows anything about the product on offer. Just ponder the concept of "drop shipping" for a moment. That means that anyone can sell anything without ever having laid hands or eyes on it!
The internet was supposed to dis-intermediate our interactions with others but in fact has enhanced intermediation to the point where our transactions are with people who have little or nothing to do with the product in question.[/rant]

I think I'm wrong I thought that was a fairchild part number but looking deeper at it it comes back as precision repop.
It could be labeled under another name? Last time I looked I thought they carried fairchild or I confused myself which is more easily believable.
