Replaced everything that could be causing a boost leak. Now we are making positive boost at idle, that's a plus. When we drive down the road it shifts fine and builds boost. Then, i give it throttle and it doesn't put you in your seat like it used to and it has turbo flutter bad. Also, has trouble going over 3000 rpm's and it starts to stick in place like your in neutral.
I have a 2013 6.7. It had a fouled MAP Sensor. The best I could get pulling my 16,000# Toy hauler was 2.0 and would not go more than 50 mph up a grade I normally could go over 65 mph if I wanted to. I tried cleaning it while waiting for my new one to show up. All I got were all kinds of turbo boost and strange fuel mileage readings. Some as high as 28 mpg. I haven't had a chance to pull the 5th wheel since replacing the sensor, but the lack of turbo boost seems to have been fixed. I am crossing my fingers.

Hope you figure out your 6.7. Just an FYI, this is the 6.0 section of the forum. There aren’t many similarities between the 6.7 and the 6.0. Two completely different species really.
Thanks Chuck.
I realize the two engines are completely different. I have owned just about every Ford Engine since my first 1957 Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop. I had a 56 T-Bird 312 bored and stroked and was way to fast. Can't believe I survived those days.
For some reason I received the original question about the Turbo and didn't realize it was for a 6.0. Maybe the 6.7 and 6.0 have the same MAP Sensor issue.
I have not known the 6.0L to have a MAP sensor issue, although any sensor can fail, and excessive soot generation from other issues can plug up the MAP hose and sensor (no fault of their own).
I did a bunch of searching online about fouled MAP sensors. My truck has about 79,000 miles on it and the sensor had a bunch of crap in it, not as much as others I saw on different videos. Anyway replacing mine sure helped. Turbo boost and mpg has increased also.
My 1990 7.3 had 270,000 on it and only had to replace a bunch of belts and hoses when California required our diesel fuel to be screwed with. One tank, about 300 miles and leaks everywhere. i was also reading about and extension to add to the MAP sensor, to keep it out of the soot as it flowed by..
Sorry 6.0?? I had two of them. 2004 piece of crap and it had everything wrong with it. Ford was finally ordered to buy it back. I then bought a 2006 6.0, at 48,000 sold it to CarMax after issues with oil leak at rear main, fixed, and then oil cooler problems. I love the 6.7.
