fuel leak
Hi all,
94 F250 7.3 320k+ miles. I have a diesel fuel leak when I run or idle, but not when turned off. pretty fast drip. Seems to be leaking from the passenger side towards the center. I can't tell from where. Power steering still works and brake fluid level not affected, so that is why I say diesel. It seemed to start after a good freeze. For some time the truck has smelled strongly of diesel after driving, until its been sitting for several hours, then no more smell. Thought maybe its a fuel injector but would that not leak in instead of out, right? There is no smoke blowing at all.
I'm thinking fuel injector pump gasket, or injector lines, or some gasket, or some line finally cracked from the big freeze? Not an expert here....
