I need to do some work such that, in the doing, it will be a lot easier to pre-route the electrical sending wires for some as-yet un-chosen and un-purchased old-school electrical gauges that may not happen for months.
Can I just route some standard copper wire and splice the gauge wiring to this in the future; or, is gauge sender wiring special in some way that makes this pre-planning unfeasible ?
I know that factory wiring harnesses work in pretty much the same way as my pre-wiring; or, am I missing something ?
