Fog/ auxilary lights

I was wondering if anyone has had a good experince with a particular brand or type. What i am looking for is one that can light better than the factory fog lights, and see great in a snow storm.

Any comments would be great.

Thanks

Brian

I'm happy with Hella. Cibie are very good too but a bit harder to find. The trick to fog lights isn't power, it's the lenses. It's all in the pattern they throw and how it's cut off.

Question Just an Idea

You might want to considerthe Xeon white bulbs for the fog lights. They do put out an excellent pattern and have good power for quite a bit less than the Hella. Also the LiteGlow series has a fairly good line.

What type of lenses do you recomend, clear, yellow, blue, ect. I am looking for good viewing during dense fog, and snow.

Thanks

Talk over your lighting questions with Susquehanna Motorsports at www.rallylights.com or 610-944-3234. They are a supplier to a lot of SCCa Pro Rallyr teams and can help you out.

I chose the amber lens over the clear for my fogs. You give up a little bit of intensity but get a little bit better penetration in the soup.

I went with PIAA and let me tell you, night is day with those things. I use them when traveling mountain roads at night, even when there is no fog. Carefull aiming is required though, to keep from blinding other drivers!

I too can put a good word in for Susquehanna Motorsports. I've bought from them more than once and found their selection good, their prices competitive and their customer service excellent.
