I took off the wires the run from the solenoid to the alternator and inspected them, but did not see anything visibly wrong. I am considering replacing the voltage regulator harness as the current one appears to be the original. I'm not sure what else to do at this point other than getting another voltage regulator and trying that. I already know the alternator is good and my battery and battery cables.
