99 fuel pressure is 70psi while cranking. icp goes to 2300 while cranking. rpms are 180 while cranking. changed ipr and icp. no change no smoke out of pipe while cranking. tried spare idm and pcm. only code is exhaust back pressure sensor. what am I missing? duty cycle is 43% after long crank.

Does icp start at 0 and climb to 2300? Or is the icp disconnected and you get a default reading of 2300?

I'm scratching my head too.

Pretty sure the GPs are working?

Try a new CPS?

Might as well address the EBPS. Hopefully just cleaning out the tube and sensor.

Outside temperature where you are?

Fuel tank level?

Oil level?

Wait to start light?

Replaced under dash fuse #30?

Swapped the IDM relay with another non essential relay?

Does it do the buzz test to confirm IDM power when commanded to?

Yeah, but passenger side by drain valve is post filter. Drivers side where it's way more easily installed is pre filter

I'm leaning on a fuel delivery problem. Pull a fuel banjo on the head and see if fuel dumps.

How did u arrive at the no start condition did it die or just not start one day. Any symptoms or issues prior have u had the 42 pin connector disconnected at any point prior. Have u checked your reference voltage on sensors. Have you monitored voltage while cranking have you confirmed icp readings are accurate and not just defaults? What's the condition of the iprs pigtail I've seen the two wires short together within the connector check the back of pigtail where wires go in.

it doesn't just default to 2300 even if disconnected it still would gradually increase based on ipr%. I find looking at icp voltage works for ruling out sensor. Could have ipr issue and duty cycle will climb like it's working even though the valve isn't opening. Same with icp.

went to start it one day and started up ran bad then died and hasn't started or even tried since. I'm gonna go some more digging.
