99 fuel pressure is 70psi while cranking. icp goes to 2300 while cranking. rpms are 180 while cranking. changed ipr and icp. no change no smoke out of pipe while cranking. tried spare idm and pcm. only code is exhaust back pressure sensor. what am I missing? duty cycle is 43% after long crank.
How did u arrive at the no start condition did it die or just not start one day. Any symptoms or issues prior have u had the 42 pin connector disconnected at any point prior. Have u checked your reference voltage on sensors. Have you monitored voltage while cranking have you confirmed icp readings are accurate and not just defaults? What's the condition of the iprs pigtail I've seen the two wires short together within the connector check the back of pigtail where wires go in.
Does icp start at 0 and climb to 2300? Or is the icp disconnected and you get a default reading of 2300?
it doesn't just default to 2300 even if disconnected it still would gradually increase based on ipr%. I find looking at icp voltage works for ruling out sensor. Could have ipr issue and duty cycle will climb like it's working even though the valve isn't opening. Same with icp.
