Sold my 2020 7.3 in sept for $4k over what I paid and ordered a new 2022 diesel with some options I wanted but didn’t have on the previous truck. I’m still waiting on the truck but the new upgraded truck was only $11k more for the diesel and a slew of options and 2 years newer. I do have to pay the taxes which add another $2k.
I was able to sell the wife (on the idea) as well.
Dealer offered me 40K for my truck in signature, I only have 3 more payments and 31k miles on it. Only thing I don't like with my truck is the valve stem leaks (front passenger only now)
What are you all using for a truck after trading your's in?
generally the truck it was traded for, i would assume. I am.
and maybe I misunderstood you but dealer doesn’t get your trade til your order arrives. If that’s what you meant.

things were said, and done, now I'm a man without a truck. Theyre telling me 6-8 weeks. Just gotta keep my wife from her favorite hobby, playing bumper cars with her vehicle.
The way things are going, I took the money and ran. Hopefully no more big changes to economy before I get my truck.
been to a few dealerships, and theyre saying/showing 8 weeks. My trucks are stripped down/essentials only. I can stand on my head for that long, for those prices.
8 weeks for what? Many have been waiting 8 months.

For a stripped down XL with a big motor and 4.3's. Supposedly thats based off recent orders of base model trucks. If it gets crazy then I'll probably head over to Toyota like my original intentions were.

lol on the wife thing!
this is my last morning with my F250 I’ll be in the same boat carless for a few weeks until I can pick up the Bronco(Hopefully). I did a private sale tho you gotta get while the getting is good.
which makes no sense. My truck took 6 weeks from order to delivery. There has to be some dealers playing with allocations to cause this.
You got lucky. Local dealer who I ordered my 2022 F350 (X-plan) on 12/2 said recently they received 2 trucks in 8 weeks and average was 75 days. I ordered 50 days ago and so far nothing other than email order confirmation from Ford.
I also ordered a F450 from Chapman (4% below invoice ) on Jan 8th and they said to expect it to be at least 6 months or longer.
Both trucks were ordered priority code 10.
Local dealer that I ordered the 350 from valued my trade (2020 F350 diesel CCSB) at $74k. They said trade in offer would not change as long as “truck is in same condition” when new one arrives. Last week Carvana offered only $59k and Vroom offered $70k for my 2020 F350 Lariat Ultimate CCBS PSD.
These are crazy times. 6 months ago I sold our 2019 F150 to Carvana for $14k more than I paid for it.

They had two Bronco's in the showroom, those are cool and would like to have one. Theyre saying 9mo on a Bronco. How long have you been waiting?

Since the 13th of January when I test drove it overnight. It’s not everything I would have ordered but I took my fifth wheel to the consignment lot and sold my truck already. It’s one of the mannequin’s. Dealer called this week and said Ford changed the policy and I can have it the Jan 31st. I have to weigh out if it’s worth it to install lockers or true trac’s and gearing and update to leather seats on this one or order the one I really want and trade this back off at that time. My wife loved it and said put money down so we did when we went back to pick the truck up.
One thing I like is the color antimatter blue and the dropped the color for ‘22MY. So if I ordered one I can’t get this color.
