64 front end conversion
I have seen a few posts about it being difficult if not impossible to swap out the front end of the old 60s straight axle 1 tons to get a more desirable bolt pattern to get rind of the widow makers and possible PS and Disc, I have been wondering about doing this and planed on maybe buying a donor truck to do so, I was chatting with my mechanic who works on lots of the old stuff and thought maybe there would be a option to switch out the spindles if I was happy to just get better when option.
Please if anyone was successful in this swap let me know what you did and what parts the donor was.
