so some dumb questions
-i've got the '76 front axle with disc brakes coming thanks to awesome people on this forum! thanks a ton
now i'm a bit lost as i understand from some threads that i need additional items and not sure how/where/what to procure:
-disc brake proportioning valve-should be getting the '76 version so will that work?
-different master cylinder needed for the discs-not sure what to get to address that issue
-vacuum booster-guessing the booster for sale for standard drums for 1970 won't work so what to get and where?
-will i need something to adjust pedal linkage after new booster and/or master cylinder?
maybe there's a thread on all this but haven't found it
thanks all for any insight. excited to get started!
I installed a 76 disc brake axle under my 70 ranger xlt. I didn't change anything else. Brakes worked great! try it out before you start changing things.
