fuel delivery problems
first off i have a 89 ford with a 5.0 litre 302 5 speed standard, when i first start the truck it idles high for a while then kicks down. while driving it will idle high between shifting not dropping down properly. once it warms up the check engine light will flash when i press the accelorator and in 3rd and 4th the truck will jerk. i pulled the codes off the truck and got three 22, 32, and 54. 22 is the map sensor out of range, 32 is evr signal and 54 is air intake temp signal to high. which one should i check first, and will one throw the other two off.

check for cracks or leaks between your air flow meter and throttle body. improper readings at the air flow meter can give you a lean mixure which will run hot for the inake heat and could be causing the jerking. did your engine back fire recently?
