Read my post "OKProfanity Removedhappened to my truck" and you will see what problems I was having. Service department pulled the fuse to the truespeed module and now the truck will run. I called Superlift and they said that the 6.0 is not an application for that module and that I should remove it.
It ran fine for over 2K miles with the module in. This doesn't make sence to me. Anyone have any troubles with the Truespeed on a 6.0???
Truespeed is a module that is made by Superlift. It is used to correct the speedo for bigger tires. If you haven't put one on chances are that you don't have one.
I am just going by what I know from what has happened to me. I got my truck home and took out the truespeed module and it runs fine. I mentioned in the other thread that when I called Superlift tech support they said not to run the truespeed module with the 6.0 because they didn't design it for the 6.0 and there may be trouble. I found the trouble first hand.
I hear that the dealer can recalibrate for tires up to 35s. Not sure though. I am going to call today and find out though. Even if I can get reprogrammed for 35s that will be close enough for the 37s I am running.
