Adding 12V Outlet

Looking for tips - tricks - photo of any 12V outlet adds. I primarily tow with my F350 and unfortunately most items such as Garmin and rear camera on trailer are 12V.

Where do want to add the outlets?

I’ve seen threads here showing 12 V outlets in the center speaker recess which is likely where you want yours. There’s a thread that was updated today that had some pictures and info on the outlets

There are lots of 12v outlet adapters with 2 or 3 outlets so you can plug multiple things into one place.
You just have to make sure that the load doesn't exceed the fuse rating.

What trim level, cab and seat configuration do you have? With my XLT super cab 40/console/40 I have 3 12VDC outlets, dash, inside center console and rear of center console. If I really needed another I'd probably put a splitter in the inside console outlet. In there the wires flopping around wouldn't annoy me so much.

I like a neat cabin.

No pics at the moment, but I'm talking about the 3 12 volt outlets that came with the truck. My XLT has these, so certainly a Lariat would have them.
1. On the dash, under the little door with the AC outlet
2. Inside the center console in the front right corner
3. On the rear of the center console are another USB point, another AC outlet and the 3rd 12 volt outlet.

As mentioned up thread there are 12 volt "splitters" that allow 2 or 3 things to share one 12 volt outlet. Being lazy and cheap, before I modded my truck I'd get one of those splitters and put it in the inside the console outlet. Then hide all the extra wire in the console to keep cabin clutter to a minimum.
